In the Chair has been announced one of the seven the winners of the Australian Week Innovation Forum Competiton and will represent South Australia in Australia Week in New Your in Jaunary.
Australia Week is a celebration of all the great things about Australia, from food & wine, film, arts, lifestyle, trade and investment to indigenous culture and tourism.The 2007 event will include a Program of Events in Los Angeles and New York, as well as an Online Event designed to reach Americans across the country.
Growing from its inception in Los Angeles in 2004, Australia Week has become the single largest foreign country promotion held annually in the United States. Last year Australia Week had over 7,000 participants and an audience reach of 100 million in the United States and Australia.
Innovation & Investment in the 21st Century
In conjunction with Invest Australia, State Governments, DEST and Advance, this event will profile Australian innovation and investment potential to the US market, focusing on finance, science, technology and research, as well as development capabilities.
In the Chair has been selected as one of the six state finalists to present to a panel of expert American judges to prove that their company's cutting edge innovation has what it takes to make it in the US market. |
